Going to try and include something from the past at least a few times a week. Things like this always bring a smile to my face, and we could all use a smile.
I never knew this song was about him falling for a transvestite! LOL The things you learn when you get older. BA! I've prolly heard this song 1000 times and never "heard" it.
Too funny.
And I am including my favorite Kinks song, just because it makes me want to get up and dance every time I hear it. And I usually do, just ask my kids...where'd they go? :P

I don't think I ever listened to the Lola lyrics close enough to know what it was about. Hee!
This is too funny! My cousin named her daughter Lola, and said she loved the song, and I told her to come up with another story behind the name because in the song, Lola was a man! She about died, she also never really listened to the lyrics:)
