So I haven't posted in forever....

So I haven't posted in forever, and I need to update...But I thought I would come and post my birth stories here since I typed them up for a friend (I love copy and paste!)

#1 Joshua was 14 days overdue. They sent me in to be induced. I had never had an untrasound (going to tree hugging mid wives). They had said "oh your breech" "oh it turned" over and over. Came to the conclusion the baby was head down. So 7am...put pit in. At 10:30pm I was finally dialated to 10. Pushing...yada yada...No pain meds whatsoever. So here comes something...and the midwives are all "oh dear, what is that?" And me thinking I am delivering an alien or something. Nope, it was his nuts. So they are telling me not to push (yeah right). They call the Dr. With each contraction his scrotum is coming out, then going in. So emergency C-section...he was finally born at 1:16 am the next day. His manhood was the size of a full grown man. Black and blue and blistered. (poor guy)
#2 Miscarriage at 8.5 weeks, at home. No complications.
#3 Miscarriage at 17 weeks. I delivered Tanner around 10 pm. The placenta wouldn't come out. I was on pitocin for HOURS trying to deliver the placenta. The Dr was a complete jerk. He had one hand on the outside and one inside tugging and pulling...it finally came out about 6am as we were heading to the operating room. That hurt was worse that delivering ANY of my babies. (the tugging and pulling)
This period was years of trying to conceive with no luck. All sorts of painful tests and whatnot. I had given up on having anymore kids. I went to the Dr who delivered Joshua for a yearly exam. He noticed that my uterus was WAY tilted. My cervix was pointing upwards instead of down. (I am sure it was caused by the doctor yanking and pulling..he stretched the ligaments that hold up the uterus very badly.) So this Dr. tells me "If you want to get pregnant, have sex doggy style, then stay that way for 15 minutes...LOL" So we did, and I got pregnant.
#4 With Dallin I went into labor at 28 weeks. Bedrest...tributaline, it was a nightmare. I made it to term though. I had a scheduled C section, BUT...I was heading up to labor and delivery a week before the surgery to see my SIL who had had a miscarriage. My water broke in the elavator in the hospital. I asked the Dr to let me be and see what happened. 12 hours later, with the help of pit Dallin was born...also with no pain meds, and no complications.
#3 Also preterm labor, but not til 32 weeks. Bedrest, yada yada...but made it to term. I went into the hospital dialated to 4...so they broke my water. I was put on pit again. Baylee was born 7 hours later. No pain meds, no complications.
#4 No preterm labor with Tyleigh. I was dialated to 5 with bulging bags by 36 weeks though. They had me scheduled for a C-section. (this was the new hospital policy...no V-bacs due to new research and malpractice suits) I was almost 38 weeks. I told the Dr. I thought it was stupid to make me have a C-section when I was already dialated to 5. He agreed. I had to sign all kinds of wavers saying I understood the risks and I couldn't sue the hospital..yada yada. They took me in, broke my water at 8am. Again I had pit. This time I wanted to try some pain relief so I had an intrathecal (sp? It's a spinal but only lasts an hour). Well then I couldn't figure out how to push...lol. She ended up having to be sucked out by the vacuum cuz her heart rate was wigging out. She was fine though :)

And now the News....

So that house that I soooo much want. The owners called me and they want us to rent it until we can buy!
He has an interview in Dallas on Friday, and if he gets the job we may be moving. Not sure how soon. They said "right away". But we still have to draw up papers for the house, and they have to buy a house in Texas so that may take a while.
I am really excited. Still not trying to get my hopes up too much. Farmer

Alright so now more news....

Ok before I start with the news I want to say that I love Grey's Anatomy. http://www.greysanatomyonline.com/

New Hope....

(Edited to say that since this post we have found out the stuff dealing with the bankruptcy isn't true. We actually have to pay up til Oct for the 36 mo. to be up, and them we have another 18 months to pay after that...but we can pay it off without penalty. Not that that helps at all...no way that we can come up with 4 grand. I guess we will see what happens)
So I got some pretty good news the other day.
I talked on the phone with my attorney, and he said that once our 36 months is up on our chapter 13 bankruptcy that we are DONE. All remaining balances are forgiven. (Ch.13 you pay back the debt...Ch.7 is where all your creditors just get screwed..lol) I was under the impression that after the 3 yrs that they re-do the remaining balance. (And we would still owe over $5,000) So after March...we will be $231 richer every month and our Ch. 13 will be discharged. (See above edit)
Which means, we can BUY a home!
I know the house I want too. It isn't anything fancy...I don't do fancy. And it doesn't look very big on the outside, but it is actually a pretty big house. AND it comes with 1.5 acres, AND I have lived in it before so I know I like it.
6 bedrooms and 1.5 acres for $144,000. You can't find that Anywhere. And we know ALL of the neighbors. Right next door lives the bishop that Married Jared and I almost 13 yrs ago.
K a little background. When Dh and I were engaged, I didn't want to be in Cali while he was in Oregon, so I moved in with this awesome family who just happened to live in THIS house. (No way I would live with DH's family...they all have serious issues) We would wake up in the morning, sit at the kitchen table, and watch all the deer in the backyard. It was awesome.
Two more good things about this house... Being out in the country, you have a well and a septic system. Meaning NO water Bill! You also have a burn barrel, and you just burn your garbage. So no garbage bill either. There is a huge wood burning stove downstairs, and there are vents in the ceiling/floor...and the heat from this stove also heats the upstairs. NO MORE $264.00 gas bills. (Jared can cut a cord of wood for $5.00 right outside of town).
I talked to the owners of this house...and they said they would be willing to work with us. I'm not holding my breath, but I think it would be Awesome. It still had to be on the market, so there is a chance it could sell. But today...at this moment anyhow, life is looking up, and I no longer want to hurl myself off a cliff. LOL
One more reason to move there: The nursing program at the local college. ALL of the colleges I have looked at to attend Nursing school, have at least 2 yrs of pre-requisites. This program is 2 yrs. No pre-reqs. 2 yrs of school and I will be an RN. This to me is just about reason enough in itself. This Program has also been on the top of the list in the nation too.
AND...lol I have heard the the local hospital, will pay for your schooling...if you sign a contract with them, to work there for a year or 2 once you are done with school.Another reason..(this will be the last one I swear) The school system there is AWESOME. People move there just for the schools. There are 2 wards in this town of under 1500 people.

FREEZING!!!!

It has been so fetchin' cold here. I can't stand it! We are lucky if we hit 30 as a high.
We finally put our Christmas Tree up last Sunday. Tangled Lights I wasn't as anal this year as I usually am. The kids really wanted to help, and so I let them...and it doesn't look that bad. Tree I was pleasantly surprised.
The kids have been PITA's. I keep warning them....about Santa Santa But it doesn't seem to be doing any good. Baylee is usually an angel, and the past few weeks I think the devil has taken over.

Going to try to do my Christmas shopping this weekend or the beginning of next week. Scrooge

My Butt hurts.....

So I woke up to another several inches of snow. So I was out shoveling, again. There was some ice under the snow, and half way through shoveling I slipped on the ice. BAM! Ouch Ice Skate Nothing really hurts unless I sit on the toilet...LOL
That is my story for the day, gonna take my sore Moony to bed.

Oh Man....

Today was pretty horrid.
First I had to drive on these icy roads. Not fun at all.
I shoveled my driveway. The worst part was the end of the driveway...the gutter, where the snowplow idiot puts all the snow from the road, so when you back out you have to hit the ski jump to get out...Yee-Haw Hazzard Smileys. I thought I was going to pass out when I was finished.
Tyleigh has been going through this no clothing phase (or I hope it is a phase...LOL Sexy). So all the kids are happily playing...or so I think. Dallin and Baylee are. But I go to check on Tyleigh and she has taken off her diaper, pooped on her floor and stepped all over it in with her socks and made tracks all over her carpet. Foot Print I threw her in the tub and scrubbed her floor Shit.
Dallin and Baylee are chasing each other, and Dallin has a mouth full of milk. He laughs and it shoots out all over the kitchen floor. I make him clean it up, and as he reaches for the paper towels he tips over a bag of half eaten, week old pies I had sitting on the counter (trash day tomorrow) and they crash all over the floor on top of the spewed milk mess. That was fun to clean up.
Tyleigh also pulled a chair up to the counter and helped herself to a cube of butter I had set out to make cookies.
Other than that, my day was fine... Pulling My Hair Out

Thanksgiving...

Well Thanksgiving was dull. It was just us, and then Ed, Bryan, and Rick came for dinner. They are a fun bunch. They gave me a nice card with $100 dollars inside! MoneyI went to Shop-Ko and bought a new bedset for 39.99. I have the rest saved, and will more than likely use it for Christmas gifts.
By time the holiday was over (the kids and Jared had 5 days off work and school) I was about to go mad. Jared was getting on my nerves bad, and I was glad to see him go to work yesterday.
It has been snowing on and off all day today. And is supposed to snow throughout the night also. We have maybe 3 inches tops, so it isn't bad yet. Makes it hard to drive, but it sure looks pretty. Snowy House
Jared decided he WASN'T going to be santa to make extra money for Christmas. So there goes that idea. I hope he doesn't expect anything for Christmas, cuz there isn't money to get him anything. Scrooge

Today...

So Yesterday was my birthday. Totally normal day. At 33 it really isn't that big of a deal I guess.
We celebrated Sunday, with Cake and icecream. Of course Jared sat his ass on the couch while I cut the cake, dished up the iceceam and served it everyone.
So I came up with a fabulous idea to make some Christmas money. Jared's father Jim, played Santa for years. Church santa, Mall Santa, all of that. So after Jim died Jared took over for a while. He did a pretty good job too. So, a few years ago Jared was Santa for a huge Christmas party we had with all of our friends. He did such a good job that the friends he had borrowed the costume from gave it to him. So, for extra money I am renting out my husband. Dressed like Santa SantaThe going rate for the ones I called on, started at 50 bucks just for a brief appearance. So I am going to make ours cheaper. Even if he only gets a few appointments, that is still a few more dollars than we and have now. Elf
So the kids have the rest of the week off of school. Jared had the rest of the week off too, but an opportunity came up for him to do another run, so he is going to do it. The best news is that he is taking Dallin and Baylee with him! Truck Driver 2 I wish Tyleigh were older. Then he could take her too. At least I can have a little Peace and Quiet . And Joshua is going to help me prepare for Thanksgiving dinner. Thanksgiving Dinner Pilgrim Pilgrim Girl Carving Turkey Pilgrim Turkey Cranberry Sauce Then Thursday morning all I will have to do it pop it all in the oven.

Today...

As I was getting the girls in bed tonight the cutest thing happened. They always hug and kiss and what not. Tonight after Baylee gave Tyleigh a hug and said "Goodnight" Tyleigh said " I wub you Baywee" They were the sweetest words I have heard in a long time. I Love You Flowers
Poor Tyleigh is sick again. I swear she hasn't had a two week period where she hasn't been sick. She has a horrid cough, and a runny nose. Luckily no fever because Jared cancelled our health insurance. Screamer I am not sure when it runs out...but it could be inactive already. We were paying over 400 dollars a month. Which yeah, is alot of money. But hey we need insurance we have 4 kids. He doesn't seem to think so. Of course when the kids are sick he isn't the one who has to take care of them so what does he care.
One good thing today was my mother called and is sending my 50 bucks for my birthday. So now I get to go to Maddox and get that chocolate cream pie I have been craving Hungry . I could actually buy 5 of them... Pig LOL And NO I am not sharing.
Well, I think I am actually going to be in bed before midnight tonight. I am so tired Tired . And I can't be sure I won't be woke up by Tyleigh coughing and crying several times tonight like I was last night. So I'd better get my buns in bed. Girl In Bed
Goodnight! PJs
